After Dinner Technical meeting - A Steel Fabricator's View

If you cannot attend the afternoon session which focusses on light gauge steel framing, or the networking and dinner session, don't worry!  You still have the opportunity to arrive at 7.30pm to register with your personal QR code, grab a coffee and have a few minutes to network before the evening session kicks off.

There will be an ACSEV general meeting at 7.45pm.

Our evening technical session will be focussed on steel fabrication, with reference to both AS 4100 & AS/NZS 5131, and will comprise 2 speakers.  A number of areas will be considered including an assessment of construction categories and their implications for quality, inspection and testing; weld selection; practical detailing for fit-up, access, inspection and buildability, and feedback from fabricators advising what they require from engineering drawings, specifications and general notes.
