Corporate Membership is our primary professional tier, reserved for practising structural engineers who are endorsed building engineers in Victoria or eligible for membership with Engineers Australia’s College of Structural Engineers (or an equivalent body). This level represents a commitment to professional standards and peer recognition within the industry. 

Fees: Metro $210 / Country $170

For engineers actively working in the field but not yet endorsed or eligible for full membership, the Associate category offers valuable connection, knowledge-sharing, and involvement. It’s also suited to professionals in academia or the broader construction industry who have a strong interest in structural engineering. 

Fees: Metro $190 / Country $150

Graduate Membership supports those who have completed their engineering degree within the last six years. It’s a space to grow professionally, stay engaged with current practice, and connect with mentors and peers. Graduation documentation is required each year upon renewal. 

Fees: Metro $100 / Country $75

Designed for students currently undertaking an engineering degree at a recognised university, this membership offers early exposure to the industry, access to events, and opportunities to build relationships that last beyond graduation. A current student ID must be provided annually.

This membership is for individuals who have retired from active engineering practice but maintain a long-standing connection with the profession. Reserved for former ACSEV members, it acknowledges their contribution to the field and keeps them connected to the community through events, publications, and industry updates.

Fees: Metro $70 / Country $50

Life Membership is a special honour awarded by ACSEV to individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the organisation and the structural engineering profession. This tier recognises excellence, dedication, and leadership, and is granted by nomination and approval of the committee.
