ACSEV technical meeting attracts largest crowd to date.
The ACSEV technical meeting held on 15 July 2026 attracted the largest number of attendees in ACSEV history, with over 145 members and guests in attendance.
The topic of the July technical meeting was Artificial Intelligence in Structural Engineering.
Our speakers included Hendrik Wijaya from Swinburne University of Technology and Samuel Verghese from SJV Consulting Engineers. The topic was a popular one, with not one member leaving before 10pm. The material presented was well covered, extremely interesting, encouraged lots of discussion afterwards, and enabled our members to approach this developing field with enthusiasm and much less fear. A fabulous evening that has been spoken about many times since.
